Our Commitment to Accessible Education

At Flourish, we believe quality education should be accessible to all students regardless of financial circumstances. We are committed to ensuring every student has the opportunity to develop their agency and independence through our innovative approach, without financial constraints preventing qualified students from joining our community.

2025-2026 Tuition Structure

Our annual tuition is $16,000, payable monthly, as a single installment at year start (5% discount), or in two semester installments. We offer multiple pathways to make this investment manageable for families across different income levels.

Three Family Examples

The following examples illustrate how Education Freedom Scholarships, ESA vouchers, and need-based scholarships work together to make Flourish accessible across income levels. Each scenario demonstrates our commitment that every family makes a meaningful financial investment in their child's education, with amounts based on income for a family of four. 

The key threshold is $81,120 (200% of the federal free and reduced lunch level), which determines ESA voucher eligibility. Families below this threshold can combine ESA vouchers with need-based scholarships for maximum support, while those above rely on Education Freedom Scholarships and varying levels of need-based aid.

Higher Income Family (above $120,000)

Annual tuition: $16,000

Education Freedom Scholarship: $7,000 

Available scholarship: $0

Family pays: $9,000 annually

Middle Income Family ($81,120 - $120,000)

Annual tuition: $16,000

Education Freedom Scholarship: $7,000

Available scholarship: $6,000 (upon request) 

Family pays: $3,000 annually

Lower Income Family (below $81,120 - ESA Eligible at 200% of FRL) 

Annual tuition: $16,000

ESA voucher: $9,300

Available scholarship: $6,200 (special case) 

Family pays: $500 annually

Every Flourish family invests financially in their child's education. This investment reflects our commitment to being an elite private school worth sacrificing for, not another free public option.

Education Savings Account (ESA) Program & Education Freedom Scholarship

Flourish participates in Tennessee's Education Savings Account program. ESA reimbursements require parent application and vary by income level. Families at 200% of the free and reduced lunch program (approximately $81,120 for a family of four in Nashville; other levels found here) are eligible for $9,300 ESA vouchers. Families above this threshold may qualify for the $7,000 Education Freedom Scholarship through a competitive application process.

ESA Application Process:

Submit your state application at esa.tnedu.gov. Applications for 2026-27 open February, 2026, with priority deadline May 1, 2026, and final deadline July 1, 2026. Required documentation includes proof of residence, income verification, federal tax returns, and public school enrollment information if applicable.

Apply for Flourish admission simultaneously. Our admissions team will guide you through our process and explain how ESA funds apply to your tuition. Once approved for both ESA and Flourish admission, our finance office handles invoicing directly with the Tennessee Department of Education. Families pay only costs exceeding the ESA amount.

Scholarship Opportunities

Families at 0-200% of the federal poverty level may access scholarships for special cases. Families above 200% of poverty level can request $6,000 scholarships based on need and availability.

How Financial Aid Works with Tuition

With ESA funds and scholarships combined, many families find Flourish education highly affordable. The $9,300 ESA voucher covers more than half of standard tuition, while the $6,000 scholarship further reduces costs for qualifying families.

Additional Fees

Optional services include busing at $1,000 annually, and before care (7-8 AM) and after care (3-5 PM) at $10 hourly.

What Tuition Includes

Your tuition covers our complete academic program, access to our proprietary AI coaching platform, technology resources for real-world application learning, Morning and Afternoon Pursuits materials, daily reflection and journaling activities, real-world learning experiences, project-based learning materials, and personal device requirements. Optional educational trips beyond standard experiences may require additional fees.
